When listening to songs, I sometimes notice that they (the pianists) play the melody using the right hand and the chord the left hand.
I tried to play it that way. Not too successful. In fact, disastrous...hahaha.
So I tried again using the basic. One hand at a time. Left hand on the melody. Quite a high success rate, but very slow and of course some mistakes here and there. It doesn't come as naturally as my right hand.
I'll try again tomorrow and if it works, try the chords on the right hand. Should be easier.

Welcome and thanks for dropping by. Music soothes your heart for some, and I'm sure for you are your cooking or baking skills...
Salam,
Most pianist play the melody with their right hand because most songs, or rather the notes, are designed for the treble cleft. Anyway, my left hand is a disaster as it tend to hit the keys a wee bit louder than should.
Glad to meet you ydiana; think I have been here before. Or is this, what's that word where you think you are reliving a moment...it slips my mind.
ps. Ok, the word or term I was searching for is 'deja vu'.
Hi Cakapaje
Yeah... It was deja vu. I was thinking about serendipity but of course that's quite far off..
Well, as you say, most pianist can play the melody with the right hand naturally, but with the leftie, you need to soften and feel the rhytm of the songs..
I presume you are also musically talented?
Ok, while I do admit at tinkling on the piano and able to read some simple notes, I don't think I can say I am musically talented...musically inclined, yes :)
A wonderful piece by the Bangles
Close your eyes, give me your hand..
For me piano/keyborad is a very wonderful piece of instrument.
It is a more discipline instrument compared to the guitar and the sound key are very precise.
Hello Letting The Time Pass Me By.
Yes, nice and soothing song isn't it. Actually I did't even know the singer, but I love this song coz its my late sister's favorite. She used to sing this song and whenever I hear it, it reminds me of my fond memories of her. And its an Eternal Flame...of her memories.
